We Make Quite the Pair (30 x 30 inches)

Description

One of several ‘do-over’ paintings from 2023, “We Make Quite the Pair” combines two of my current explorations; big, swoopy, gestural mark-making and ‘masked’ shapes. Along with my signature, bright-coloured palette, of course!

I love that this piece asks the viewer to decide how they want to see it; are you inside looking out, or outside looking in? What’s beyond the surface? Does the texture give any clues? A conversation sparker, to be sure!
