Purchasing and Shipping

I want you to be happy with your new art. If you have any questions, please contact me in advance of your purchase at tamaracgrand@gmail.com.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering

How is my payment handled?

Payments are taken through Stripe in Canadian dollars. You do not need to have a Stripe account to purchase; you can use the Stripe service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Paying by Bank Transfer

There is a checkout option to pay by bank transfer for Canadian customers only. This saves me credit card and Stripe processing fees 🙂. If you select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold in the Shop and unavailable to others.

Shipping

I have placed my order. How soon will I receive my painting?

Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 7 working days (unless part of a current exhibition, in which case, there may be a delay, until after the exhibition is finished; information about such delays are typically noted within the Description of the piece). Parcels shipped within North American are sent by Canada Post or courier, depending on size and weight. Please allow 10 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes. If you live within driving distance of Port Moody, British Columbia, and prefer to pick up your work in person. Choose the ‘Pick Up’ delivery option during checkout and I’ll follow up with an email for us to discuss a place and time.

Is shipping included?

No. I charge a flat rate for shipping work within North America based on painting size. Shipping fees are added automatically at checkout. You’ll be able to see these fees before you finalize your purchase.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options; or if you want to secure the painting, you can pay for it now and I will bill you separately for shipping costs.

Overseas shipments (outside North America) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

How will my painting be wrapped?

Paintings will be carefully packaged using corner protection, bubble wrap and cardboard. Each one is unique so I take care that it is well packaged and that it arrives in perfect condition.

Returns

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a painting is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Return shipping costs are at your expense. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 7 days.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and if possible document the damage in a photograph or two.
