My smallest, most experimental works are created by cutting up and re-assembling hand-painted papers on cradled canvas and board. These collages allow me to explore different colour palettes and compositions quickly and easily.
They are an integral part of my studio practice and often suggest new directions for larger works. The last two pieces are part of an ongoing ‘100 day project’. You can read about it here.
