Description
These whimsical and translucent shapes remind me an evening spent on the water, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Sometimes, when the conditions are just right, bioluminescent plankton light up the water, revealing the ghosts of other creatures.
When I look at this painting, I see jellyfish. My son, on the other hand, immediately asked me if I knew of the artist Jeff Koons, as this piece reminded him of ‘Balloon Dogs’. Hence the name of the piece. Feel free to see whatever you wish!
