The first of the paintings in my brand new ‘wild-ER-ness’ series. An exploration of letting big, gestural marks, swoopy brushstrokes and messy edges take centre stage. Inspired by long walks in deep, dark coastal forests, where sunlight only occasionally filters through and the silence is sporadically interrupted by bird song.

A place where I feel closest to my true, wild and authentic self!
